Bellydrum is a meetup dedicated to the teaching and performance of Middle Eastern, Turkish and Greek rhythms on the doumbek, riq, tar or zils. Beginners to advanced drummers are welcome as long as they are serious about learning and playing specific rhythms. Bellydrum is not a drum circle, but a place where you can actually learn to play specific rhythms on the doumbek.
